About The MTI Surface Heating System
Radiance® is a thermal therapy innovation from MTI that applies radiant heat technology to Designer Collection tubs, also available for many of MTI’s Designer Collection shower bases. Factory-installed and fully integrated, Radiance warms the interior surface of the bath for neck, shoulders, back and bottom, providing an even distribution of warmth to eliminate the shock of a cold tub and increasing relaxation during the bath. One Radiance system includes electrical heating grids for 2 heated zones plus all of the electronic controls. Heated zones can vary from 85-100°, depending on ambient temperature of room.
End Drain 1-person tubs:
- Radiance zones heat the backrest and floor opposite the drain.
Center Drain 2-person tubs: (Must specify zones on order)
- Both backrests (one system)
- Backrest and floor at either end of the tub (one system)
- Both backrests and floor at each end (two systems)
