Features and Specifications
- PBV1005AS – Pressure Balance shower valve with a ½” NPT male connection.
- Single control valve with two inputs for hot/cold water and one output.
- The bottom output does not come capped and can be used with a diverting tub-spout.
- Flow rate of 5.5 GPM @ 60 PSI.
- Supply Stops - There are two safety stops at each water inlet to prevent water flow in case of installation and repairs.
- Handle Operation - Lift the handle to control the volume. Move it between left and right to adjust temperature; left for hot, right for cold.
- Cut Out Dimensions - The cut out in wall should be 4.60” x 4.76” Inches which is properly covered by the trim plate. This will ensure that the trim plate will cover the cut out hole in the wall.
- Trims - The trim set for PBV1005AS consists of a trim plate and handle knob. The trim plate has markings for HOT/COLD. An extension kit can be ordered separately in case the handles need to be extended for proper fit.
- Any trim ending in *2200 or *2201 can be used with this valve.
- Depending upon the shower model, trims can be of different shape and size, varying from square to circular shower handles.
