Features and Specifications
- TVH.2691 thermostatic valve features ¾” NPT female connections and has 2 water outputs [ports] (one for the tub spout and one for the handheld).
- Both water outputs are operable simultaneously, or one at a time.
- The middle handle sets the temperature. The left handle controls output port 1 and the right handle controls output port 2. Each port has full volume control capability.
- The installation of the spout and handheld shower outlets are interchangeable.
- SUPPLY STOPS – There are two safety stops at each water inlet to prevent water flow in case of installation and repairs.
- HANDLE OPERATION – The middle handle is used to control the temperature of water flowing through the outlet. The left handle controls the volume of water from full flow to a trickle for the output port 1. The right handle controls the volume of water from full flow to a trickle for the output port 2.
- ANTI-SCALD RING – Over the temperature control knob, is an anti-scald temperature stop ring which is a safety feature in this thermostatic value. With the help of this ring, the temperature of the water is regulated. The handle knob has a push-button on the side to adjust temperature; without pressing it, full hot rotation is prevented.
- VALVE INSTALLATION - Maintain a proper distance from the back of the valve to the finished tile between 2.77” and 3.44” [Rough In Spec]. The valve must be installed straight and not at an angle or upside down. Extension kits are available to elongate both handles if the wall is thicker.
- CUT OUT DIMENSIONS – The cut out in the wall should be 16.41” X 1.85” which is properly covered by the trim plate.
- TRIMS – The trims comprise of a well-finished cover plate and handle knobs. The trim plate is used to cover the wall. Depending upon the shower model, trims can be of different shape and size, varying from square to circular shower handles.
