About The MTI Textured Bottom
Unlike other manufactures that use unattractive and gritty inserts that are difficult to keep clean and unpleasant to the touch, particularly on more sensitive areas of the body, MTI’s textured bottom is thermoformed into the product, reshaping the floor to create a smooth pebble-like surface that is comfortable and easy to clean. This surface is compliant with ASTM C 1025-07 coefficient of friction test. Though cast acrylic is inherently slip-resistant, all of MTI’s gloss acrylic shower bases come standard with MTI’s textured bottom. Our Designer acrylic bathtubs come standard without a textured bottom, but can be added as an option. This option must be included on the order, as it is part of the product’s formation process

About The MTI Bluetooth Stereo System
High-performance acoustic transducers effectively transform the bath shell into a sounding board, surrounding the bather with invigorating or relaxing sounds of choice. Stereo H2O lets the bather feel the music as it travels through the bath water.
- Stereo H2O transducers can be integrated with a zoned home audio system.
- Provided speaker leads connect to the zoned audio amplifier.

About The MTI Surface Heating System
Radiance® is a thermal therapy innovation from MTI that applies radiant heat technology to Designer Collection tubs, also available for many of MTI’s Designer Collection shower bases. Factory-installed and fully integrated, Radiance warms the interior surface of the bath for neck, shoulders, back and bottom, providing an even distribution of warmth to eliminate the shock of a cold tub and increasing relaxation during the bath. One Radiance system includes electrical heating grids for 2 heated zones plus all of the electronic controls. Heated zones can vary from 85-100°, depending on ambient temperature of room.
End Drain 1-person tubs:
- Radiance zones heat the backrest and floor opposite the drain.
Center Drain 2-person tubs: (Must specify zones on order)
- Both backrests (one system)
- Backrest and floor at either end of the tub (one system)
- Both backrests and floor at each end (two systems)

About The MTI Chromatherapy LED System
For centuries, light and color have been recognized as having an affect on human bio-rhythms and life equilibrium. The therapeutic use of different colors of light, or chromatherapy, has been determined to have a positive impact on overall health and well-being.
- 2 digitally controlled LEDs included. Up to 6 additional lights may be added (for a total of 8).
- Control pad allows selection of individual colors
- Rainbow mode cycles through all colors
Standard placement of LED lights shown below for center and end drain tubs. Actual locations of LED lights may vary slightly due to tub shape, hydrotherapy components and other options. A drawing must be submitted with order to specify alternate placement. MTI will factory-install LED lights as close as possible to specified location.
