Features and Specifications
- TVH.4101 Thermostatic valve features 3/4" NPT connections and has 1 output port.
- Bottom handle sets the temperature; top handle controls water volume from full flow to a trickle.
- SUPPLY STOPS – There are two safety stops at each water inlet to prevent water flow in case of installation and repairs.
- HANDLE OPERATION – The bottom handle is used to control the temperature of water flowing through the outlet. The top handle can control the volume of water from full flow to a trickle.
- ANTI-SCALD RING – Over the temperature control knob, anti-scald temperature stop ring is a safety feature in this thermostatic valve.
- To adjust the water temperature, press the side push-button on the handle knob and move the handle to hot or cold direction. Without pressing it, you cannot rotate to full HOT as an anti-scald mechanism.
- The anti-scald temperature stop ring should be fitted tightly over the valve (tapping with a rubber mallet might be required) for proper function.
- VALVE INSTALLATION - Maintain 2.77 to 3.44 inches distance from the back of the valve to the finished tile (Rough In Spec). Install straight, not angled or upside down.
- If the tile is thicker or the valve must be installed deeper, extension kits are available to elongate both handles.
- CUT OUT DIMENSIONS – Wall cut out should be 6.49 x 4.44 Inches, properly covered by the trim plate.
- TRIMS – Trims include a well-finished cover plate and handle knobs; shapes vary from square to circular.
