- TVH.4201 thermostatic valve with ¾" NPT female connections, two inlets with integral stop kits, and a single output
- Flow rate: 13.0 GPM @ 60 PSI
- Does not have water turn off capability and must be used with a volume control or diverter valve
- Supply stops: two safety stops at each water inlet to prevent water flow during installation and repairs
- Handle operation: handle controls water temperature; does not control water volume
- Installation distance: distance from back of valve to finished tile should be between 2.77" and 3.44"
- Orientation: valve must be installed vertical and not at an angle
- Extensions: length of extensions for TVH.4201 valve is 1.40"
- Extension kits: comprising thermostatic handle extension; can be ordered separately in chrome, brushed nickel, or other finishes (TVH.E185**)
- Cut-out dimensions: wall cut-out should be 2.67" x 4.44" and is properly covered by the trim plate
- Trims: trim plate covers the wall and has HOT/COLD markings for temperature control; anti-scald temperature stop ring sits above the control knob
- Anti-scald feature: temperature stop ring should be fitted tightly over the valve (tapping with a rubber mallet might be required)
- Temperature adjustment: press the side button and move the handle to HOT or COLD; without pressing, full HOT rotation is restricted
- Trims shape: depending upon the shower model, trims can be square or circular in shape
