Features and Specifications
- Thermostatic valve with integral service stops and one output port: TVH.2693; features 3/4? NPT connections and has one water output.
- Horizontal or vertical installation – The TVH.2693 can be installed horizontally or vertically.
- SUPPLY STOPS – There are two safety stops at each water inlet to prevent water flow in case of installation and repairs.
- HANDLE OPERATION – The right handle is used to control the temperature of water flowing through the outlet ports. The left handle is used to turn water on and off and can control the volume of water from full flow to a trickle.
- ANTI-SCALD RING – Over the temperature control knob, is an anti-scald temperature stop ring which is a safety feature in this thermostatic value. With the help of this ring, the temperature of the water is regulated. The cover/knob has a push-button on the side to enable rotation to hot; without pressing it, the handle cannot rotate to the full HOT position.
- VALVE INSTALLATION – As the valve is installed, maintain 2.77? to 3.44? inches from the back of the valve to the finished tile; ensure the valve is installed straight and not angled or upside down. Extension kits are available for deeper installations.
- CUT OUT DIMENSIONS – The cut out in wall should be 7.89? x 1.89? Inches which is properly covered by the trim plate.
- TRIMS – The trims comprise of a well-finished cover plate and handle knobs. The trim plate is used to cover the wall. Depending upon the shower model, trims can be of different shape and size, varying from square to circular shower handles.
