Features and Specifications
- 3/4" NPT connections
- One water output
- Horizontal or vertical installation
- Two safety stops at each water inlet to prevent water flow during installation and repairs
- Right handle controls the temperature of water flowing through the outlet ports
- Left handle turns water on and off and can control the volume from full flow to a trickle
- Anti-scald ring over the temperature control knob, a safety feature in this thermostatic valve
- To adjust the water temperature, press the side push-button and move the handle toward hot or cold; without pressing, the handle cannot be rotated to full HOT
- The anti-scald temperature stop ring should be fitted tightly over the valve (tapping with a rubber mallet might be required) for proper function
- Valve installation: maintain a distance from the back of the valve to the finished tile between 2.77" and 3.44" inches [Rough-In Spec]. The valve must be installed straight and not at an angle or upside down
- If tile is thicker, or valve installed deeper, extension kits are available to elongate both handles of the valve
- Cut-out dimensions: 7.89" x 1.89" inches which is properly covered by the trim plate
- Trims include a well-finished cover plate and handle knobs; trim plate covers the wall; shapes vary from square to circular
- Solid brass construction
- Includes thermostatic valve TVH.2693 with integral service stops
